Crawl Baby Crawl

So this actually was filmed on Sept. 3rd...so Joey was 7 months & 1 week.

Can you see the pen marks all over his face? Joey found a pen in my bag and I didn't know...sneaky little guy!

This really is the first time Joey crawled. I was so excited to catch it on film! I got the camera out to take a picture of him getting up on his knees, and then WHAM-O, he was crawling! It's over a minute long, so don't feel any pressure to watch the whole thing...unless you are a grandma, and then you have to! :)

Purple Prizes

After going potty many many times in the toilet and keeping her undies dry many times as well, Abby earned her purple chair! YAY! I found this for a few bucks at a used store and scrubbed it down! I was super excited to award it to our Abby. It's her new reading spot!

Halloweeny Abigail

So Abby has 1 Halloween outfit that she wore last year and still fit into this year...she would wear it every day in October if I would let her. She would also probably drink out of this cup every meal if I let her too. I think the face on it looks like it's her face in this picture...funny!

Hilarious! [Side note: Can you see what a lovely calic (sp?) does to the front of her hair? It make a big chunk of her bangs go the opposite way of the rest of her natural hair flow. And most of the time it won't lay flat worth beans. Poor kiddo! She's going to HATE that in junior high school.]

OktoberFest Beer Free

We had a great time dancing to some polka/country/jazz all combined music mix!

I think more people were watching us than the performers. I don't blame them...look at this kid!

Joey LOVES to dance! He does it involuntarily whenever there is music playing. He's a little tired here though.

Read the Writing on the Wall

I woke up one morning to what sounded to me like pencil scraping on the walls!! YIKES! (Abby is so nice to not wake me up as soon as she's awake... but there definitely is a negative side or possibly an alternative motive, to that kindness!) I jumped out of bed and found a couple of these lovely "people" on my bathroom wall. I had such mixed feelings...it was Abbies first person she had drawn...so I was happy for that. She explained it had a head and eyes and legs...a person you know. :D But on my wall???

She helped me scrub every little bit off. It was a learning opportunity right?

Double Bath Time

Abby can't stand to see Joey bathe and not get in! So we do a lot of double bathing right now. Joey doesn't mind, he just has to fight for his toys more. He's learned to splash Abby in the face pretty well now. :)
